Amy Baxter

Amy brings a vibrant energy and genuine love for dance into every class she teaches. Starting her dance journey at the age of three, she has trained in a wide variety of styles including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Modern, Acro, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. With over 20 years of experience, Amy has had the privilege of teaching both recreational and competitive dancers at numerous studios across the GTA, specializing in Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz.

Alongside her professional training at George Brown College, where she earned her Dance Performance Preparation Certificate, Amy continues to share her expertise through workshops, intensives, and original choreography for dancers of all ages. Her choreography has received recognition at competitions across Ontario for creativity and musicality, but her greatest reward is seeing students shine and discover their own voice through dance. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and uplifting environment where dancers feel challenged, celebrated, and inspired to express themselves. Amy believes every dancer has their own unique spark, and she takes pride in helping them build confidence, refine their skills, and reach personal goals both inside and outside the studio.

Amy is thrilled to be part of The Studio team, where she can continue inspiring dancers to grow, express themselves with confidence, and discover the joy that dance brings.
