8 WEEKS OF DANCE

It is the perfect time of year to try something new.  A new year, a fresh start.  Many dance schools run a full year program from September to June which makes it difficult to join in January.  The programs we offer allow students starting a bit late in the season to take advantage of dance classes.  As these are just 8 week programs there is no need to purchase dance wear or special dance shoes which helps keep the cost down!  These programs are intended to give new dancers the opportunity to try dance and see what they like the best.  Then when registration opens up for our 2018/19 season you have a good idea what dance styles were the favourite.  Please feel free to drop by The Studio during business hours to visit our facility.  

Office Hours: Mon – Thurs 5:00pm-8:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm.

HOP, SKIP, CLAP parent and toddler class Jan 12 – Mar 2 9:45am-10:30 ages 18-36 months.  Movement, sing a long, musical instruments.  A great way to explore music and movement with your child.

MINI MIX IT UP ages 3-6 Saturdays 2:30-3:00 and JUNIOR MIX IT UP ages 6-11 Saturdays 3:00-3:45. 

Try all different kinds of dance.  Jan 12 – Mar 2

PRE TEEN & TEENS – Engage in the world of Hip Hop and Contemporary.  The two most popular styles of dance for this age.  Tuesdays 7:30-8:15 starting January 15.

What to wear?  If you have dance clothes you are most welcome to wear that.  Most students participate in comfortable clothing.  Leggings, yoga pants, form fitting t-shirt, loose fitting clothing for hip hop.  Always bring clean indoor running shoes.  We do not allow outdoor shoes in our dance rooms.
