What is it?

Studio Glee is inspired by the very popular show “Glee”. We want students to have the opportunity to perform at various events throughout the GTA. Singing and dancing their way into the hearts of the people for which they perform .

Who Can Audition?

Anyone can audition between the ages of 7 and 18. You do not need to have any previous singing or dancing experience all you need is the effort and energy to sing out loud and move your body. We will teach you all you need to know to put it together and make it all work! There is a non refundable audition fee of $10.00 per person due upon booking your audition time.

Where will we perform?

We are expecting to have at least 6 – 10 performances each season. Some of the events are listed below.

When do we rehearse?

There will be 2 rehearsals during the summer . Wednesday July 7th 5:30-7:00pm and Wednesday August 11th. Once our regular season at The Studio starts up we will have weekly rehearsals between September and June.

Do we all sing together or do I have to sing by myself?

The only time you have to sing by yourself is at your audition. You do not need to sing an entire song, just part of a song. You can have accompaniment or sing with out music. From then on you do not have to sing by yourself if you do not want to. For those that show an interest in singing by themselves or in a smaller group, opportunities will be given.

What if I can not attend all the rehearsals?

We want Studio Glee to be a fun experience for all involved but it will require dedication and commitment. Many of the performance pieces will depend on the full cast singing and dancing. When members are absent it does not work. No more than 2 rehearsals will be acceptable.

We understand that there are sometimes special circumstances that arise and those will be dealt with on an individual basis.
