CRISTINA MICULAS SERBAN


Cristina began dancing at age 4 and at age 9 she joined the professional ballet institution National Ballet School of Romania graduating with a Major in Ballet.

Entering the Romanian Opera Ballet she performed classical and contemporary repertoire and she had the privilege of being worked with renowned dancers and choreographers. During this time she toured internationally with the company, performing in ballet such as: Swan Lake,Giselle,Coppelia,Carmen,Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet,Cinderella,The Sleeping Beauty,Esmeralda,The Nutcracker, Paquita,Scheherazade,Bolero,Requiem,La Bayadere…

Cristina is an Honors graduate of Teacher Training Program at National Dance Centre in Paris, France.There she received her State Diploma of Classical Dance Teaching. She was trained by world renowned teachers from Paris Opera Ballet and Bejart Ballet Lausanne.

She began her teaching career in Paris, teaching all levels from beginners to advanced.

After moving to Canada, Cristina has been an invited guest teach for many dance schools in Ontario. She has attended multiple teacher workshops and she’s taking classes from: Jane Wooding, Glen Gilmour, Kevin Pugh, Michael Faigaux, to name a few.

Cristina is an energetic and enthusiastic teacher who loves to teach children of all ages and she is looking forward to share her passion for dance with her students.
