Claire
Claire began recreational dancing at The Studio at the age of 4, starting out with just ballet the first year to try. She loved it, so added Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical Dance over the next couple of years.
She has been on the Competition Team for the last 5 years, traveling to New York City twice to attend the Tremaine Convention and in 2010 one of her group dances won “Best in Show”. Claire also competed with her group at Collingwood in the Bedazzled Competition, and many other local dance competitions around the city.
Claire’s training at The Studio has enabled her to dance in the plays at her public school and to audition and receive 2 parts in the community cast of The Nutcracker with Ballet Jorgen at the Rose Theatre, Brampton.
Claire has been a demonstrator at the Studio for 3 years and loves working with the younger students to share her joy of dancing with them.
Claire favourite discipline of dance is Ballet. She has met her closest friends at The Studio, and her time spent there gives her a great deal of happiness.
